Nigerians going through hardship due to Tinubu govt’s bad policies – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), bemoaned on Monday the misery that Nigerians are experiencing as a result of the harsh consequences of poor governance practices.

Obi stated that Nigerians must seek God’s mercies and recognize the value of their creation in spite of the hardships they face.

He tweeted a number of remarks as part of his Christmas message to Nigerians.

Obi says, “As you join the Christendom to celebrate the anniversary of Jesus Christ, I wish you all a Merry Christmas.”

“For all of humanity, love, peace, and joy are embodied in this season. These are beliefs and longings that bind our shared humanity in a feast of love.

For this reason, I want to spread the spirit of this season to all of our countrymen, regardless of their status, circumstances, or political beliefs. I acknowledge wholeheartedly the challenges facing our beloved nation these days.

The majority of Nigerians no longer have high hopes due to the hardships faced by the nation, the cruel consequences of misguided policies, and inadequate governance.

But, the trials and tribulations of this day shouldn’t prevent us from understanding the significance of God’s mercy and the fundamental nature of our creation.

Furthermore, we as a people should not allow our current setbacks to deter us from striving to overcome obstacles and fully fulfill the potential of our fortunate nation.

Therefore, I command you to use this wonderful feast to make particular requests of God for our nation so that we might join the rest of the world in giving thanks to God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon us. As leaders, we have to embrace the giving-focused ethos of this season.

The majority of Nigerians no longer have high hopes due to the hardships faced by the nation, the cruel consequences of misguided policies, and inadequate governance.

“The difficulties and challenges of this moment should not however hinder us from appreciating the essence of our creation and the importance of seeking God’s mercy at all times.”
