AFCON 2024 Venue Guide: Stadiums and Locations
Ivory Coast will host the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2024, with matches being held in six venues spread over five cities.
The competition will take place in 2024, from January 13 to February 11.
Here is a list of the stadiums and their capacities:
- Stade Alassane Ouattara, Abidjan – Capacity: 60,000
- Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan – Capacity: 33,000
- Stade de la Paix, Bouaké – Capacity: 40,000
- Stade Charles Konan Banny, Yamoussoukro – Capacity: 20,000
- Stade Amadou Gon Coulibaly, Korhogo – Capacity: 20,000
- Laurent Pokou Stadium, San Pedro – Capacity: 20,000
The opening game will feature hosts Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan
The tournament will showcase some of the world’s top footballers, with teams such as Morocco, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Algeria participating
