After seven years together, American pop singer Mariah Carey and her longtime partner Bryan Tanaka have called it quits.
According to a source who spoke with Page Six, Tanaka and Carey disagreed about whether or not they wanted children together, which led to their breakup.
Moroccan and Monroe, Carey’s 12-year-old twins, live with their ex-husband, Nick Cannon. Conversely, Tanaka lacks any biological children.
The backing dancer and vocalist of “Fantasy” dated for seven years.
As Tanaka ceased going to her “Merry Christmas One and All!” tour, which began in November at the Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California, rumors about the singer-songwriter, 54, and the backing dancer’s split started to circulate.
The singer traveled alone to Aspen, Colorado, for her yearly getaway.
Tanaka began performing with Carey in 2006 as a dancer, and the two began dating in 2016.
