During a raid on their home on Monday night, December 18, Alexandre Letellier, the goalie for Paris Saint-Germain, and his family were allegedly attacked by robbers brandishing knives.
Four robbers demanded money and jewelry from the football player, his wife Chloe, and their two young children, ages six and two, during the attack.
RMC Sport in France said that during the raid, Letellier’s wife was hit in the face.
The robbers broke into the couple’s garden, causing alarms to go off at around two in the morning at their Yvelines, near Paris, home.
When the police arrived, the crooks had already broken into their property and were threatening the family with knives.
But the cops showed up fast and took three of the four offenders—two 16-year-old children and a 21-year-old adult—into custody. The judicial police of Versailles took them into custody.
While they were being held, a policeman’s knee was injured.
According to RMC, several goods taken from the house were discovered on the suspects, and a knife was discovered at the scene.
